The Cape Royal Country Club Estates had their beginnings in 1983 when Joseph Rasso purchased the land and formed the Royal Tee Golf Club. Today, the Cape Royal Country Club Estates are owned by the HOA members and board of directors.

The Cape Royal Country Club Estates are a nature lover’s paradise. Cape Coral itself is home to 24 lakes, as well as a nature preserve. The greater Cape Coral area is beloved by everyone from birdwatchers to beachgoers.

This area is home to the largest population of burrowing owls in all of Florida. You can also find a sandy beach and a fishing pier near the property. The city of Cape Coral has the greatest number of navigable waterways on the planet: over 400 miles worth!

The Cape Royal Country Club Estates community offers numerous HOA and community-sponsored clubs and activities. Along with annual holiday events commemorating Halloween, Christmas, Easter, and other holidays, this tight-knit neighborhood also holds regular block parties, community dinners, an annual farewell to the snowbirds, and a biannual Community Foundation Charity Ball.

Though golf holds a special place in the Cape Coral locals’ hearts, it’s far from being their only beloved sport. Along with their local golf league, the Cape Royal Country Club Estates community has resident pickleball and bocce leagues, a kayaking club, a table tennis club, and tennis courts. Annual SuperBowl and Kentucky Derby parties are hosted as well.

For those who are social but not athletically inclined, the Cape Royal Country Club Estates community offers seemingly endless clubs and groups. Their Table and Card Games Club, for example, includes Euchre, Ladies Bridge, and Mah Jongg, and welcomes players of any skill level.

Car fans may take a shine to the community Corvette Club, while the epicureans among us might prefer Cape Royal’s 333 Wine Club, which hosts regular wine and beer tastings. For others still, there are book clubs, gardening clubs, recurring Strides Against Breast Cancer walks, the Ladies of Cape Royal, and so much more.

As the largest city in the Cape Coral – Fort Myers, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area, Cape Coral is bursting with a variety of exciting day trip destinations. The thrill-seeker in you might be drawn to SunSplash Waterpark– the 14 acre home of more than 10 rides and activities– and Gator Mike’s Family Fun Park– which boasts dozens of attractions ranging from virtual reality games and arcades to ziplines and go-karts.

Aesthetes and artists, however, might be more interested in Cape Coral’s collection of museums, art studios, and performance halls.
